3rd International Conference on Whole-body Vibration Injuries

VIBRISKS partners INRS (France) in conjunction with UMUH (Sweden) organised the 3rd International conference on Whole Body Vibration Injuries in Nancy from 7 to 9 June. There were 57 papers presented to 150 participants from 14 different countries all around the world. A selection of 24 reviewed papers presented at the conference has been published in the Journal of Sound and Vibration, 298(3), 2006. Diagnosis of Injuries Caused by Hand-transmitted Vibration - 2nd International Workshop

The 2nd International Workshop on Diagnosis of Injuries Caused by Hand-transmitted Vibration was held in Göteborg on 6th and 7th September 2006. The workshop was sponsored by VIBRISKS and organised by partner UMUH, with assistance from UoS and UTRS. The papers presented at the workshop have also been submitted for publication in a special issue of International Archives of Occupational and Environmental Health. There were 22 papers presented at the meeting, 15 of which were presented by VIBRISKS participants and described work carried out as part of the project:
